Christ Centered RidersWho we are We are a group of Motorcyclist that love Christ and enjoy the fellowship of others who like Motorcycling. From May through September we meet on Tuesday evenings for a dinner ride and the 1st Saturday of each month for a longer ride (weather permitting). On Tuesday evenings we meet at the College Church of the Nazarene in the east parking lot at 6:15PM. The kick stands go up at 6:30PM. We ride someplace for dinner and fellowship then back. On the 1st Saturday of the month we venture out a little further. These rides meet at the College Church of the Nazarene in the east parking lot at 8:45AM with a kick stands up time of 9:00AM unless otherwise stated in an email. We will ride for two to three hours with a destination and lunch then ride back. We usually get back to town about 2:00PM. The Saturday rides sometimes vary so check the email to confirm departure time. Everyone is welcome to ride with us. Our starting point, College Church of the Nazarene, is located at 2020 E. Sheridan, Olathe, KS. That is just west of Mur-Len & Sheridan/143rd St, on the North side of Sheridan. To keep informed on the rides and cancellations you can receive our emails by sending an email to info@cc-riders.com and ask to be added to the email list. If the weather doesn’t let us ride we often drive cars so we can still enjoy the fellowship. We have other events throughout the year which are announced using our email list. Those events include: Spring kick off ride, Cook outs, Ride Your Bike to Church Sunday, and Christmas Party. Dates and times for these events are announced using our email list, so be sure you get your name added to that list. If you would like more information about our group or to be notified by email of the rides and other events send us an email at info@cc-riders.com. |

Membership Membership is not required to ride with us or join us in any of our activities. Everyone is welcome! If you do want to join as a member the cost is $30 for one person or $50 for Rider and passenger each year. Those dues get you a shirt and the knowledge that you are helping CC Riders and the organization that we support that year. There are no paid positions so all your money goes towards shirts and donations to the organization that we support. What is CC Riders? Christ-Centered Riders desire to minister to anyone who loves riding motorcycles, enjoys fellowship, needs help, or wants to share Christ with other riders on their own turf. Why join CC Riders? Strength in numbers. A team can accomplish more than any one or two can by themselves. If you believe this ministry is important – why not join? How much does it cost? Dues for one year for a single rider are $30. If you have a passenger, add $20. This includes a shirt or Shirts. What a deal! And you're supporting a great cause. Where does my money go? Since money doesn’t grow on trees or motorcycles, we must depend on your dues to provide the shirt, flyers and registration forms, annual benefit ride, rallies, bottled water, etc. This money goes to show you are part of something special, not just another “club”. The church depends on your tithe to “keep the lights on” – the CC Riders ministry depends on your contribution to keep our headlights on. All leaders of CC Riders are volunteers, doing it for the love of riding and the call of God to minister. Do I have to join to ride? No, The more the merrier is our philosophy. Encourage your friends to join in a ride. We are all about riding in Christ’s name – not who’s in or out. Y’all come and ride! What's in it for me? You’re kidding, right? CHRISTIAN FELLOWSHIP ON YOUR BIKE!! |

Sponsered Benefits Since Christ Centered Riders was formed, in 2005 we have supported various organizations with funds and projects. These funds come from dues and contributions from members and friends. These are the organizations we have supported in the past: New Horizon Ranch - we supported them from 2008 - 2011, In each of those four years we were able to provide them with approximately $1000 to help them provide service to some very deserving people. New Horizon Ranch is an equine assisted learning facility for children with physical, cognitive and emotional disabilities. If you would like to know more about New Horizon Ranch visit their web page at newhorizonranch.org. Access program - is an Olathe School District program that provides activities to people with disabilities. In 2007 we provided $500 to sponsor a trip to a Royal’s game for the Access students and their sponsors. Also in 2007 we donated $100 to New Horizon Ranch. We also conducted a benefit breakfast in February 2007 to assist fellow riders with living expenses as they recover from a motorcycle accident that happened in October 2006. That breakfast raised over $10,000 through donations and sale of silent action items. In addition there were other donations that brought the total to over $12,000.00. With these funds and some additional donations we paid their house payment and household bills through 2007. Johnson County Medical Center - In 2006 we donated $850.00 of your dues and some additional donations to purchase a special chair for the Alzheimer’s care unit at the Johnson County Medical Center. We donated the chair in honor of Beverly Turnage. Heart of America Stand Down Association - On Memorial Day weekend of 2005 we sponsored a benefit ride and bike show to raise money for the Heart of America Stand down Association. We donated $615 dollars to that organization which was the ride registration fees minus expenses and some of your dues.
